When I visited EvilCal in 2004, we took a small tour of my old neighborhood in Corpus Christi, Texas. (I lived there in 1995.) Included is my old TNI box, Circle K and the haunted pay phone on the beach. Be sure to have the sound up on the haunted pay phone scene - the sound it makes is freaky. I used to red box calls to friends from this pay phone and they would ask me what the hell that noise was.

  • Hey bro, just wondering, where's the haunted phone located? I'd like to go check it out with a couple of friends. :)

  • Go down Morgan street until you come to the beach, then turn left. It should be right around there.

  • Too bad you didn't get any footage of the Memorial Coliseum. It's being torn down now, sadly. As of 6-11-2010.

  • @crazitaco Your probably right I hadn't been in there since the late 90's. But I'm sure it didn't just fall apart, the city let it get worse and worse and made no repairs. I'll tell you this much, mark my words, in 10 years the American Bank Center will be in the same boat. Corpus was already struggling to maintain it when it was a year old and the same today. This city cannot maintain anything and it never will, until it stops putting the same people in office over and over.

  • face it, that coliseum was full of mold and it was trashed... there is no real reason to keep it. thats a good enough reason to tear it down. maybe they will put something better there that everyone can enjoy. it made corpus look bad.
