your half right jummye669. its a cross between a melinistic mutant and a ring-neck pheasant. breeders have been on a "cross kick" the past few years and seem to be cross breeding everything.

Yes I agree with my friend pigproducer its a Melanistic pheasant. No theirs no color mutation or any of anything else.
