@TheNakiel You know I guess I'm gonna have to agree with you here for the most part. There were some "last dying breaths" in the 90's with bands such as Godsmack, Tool, Disturbed, Limp Bizkit and Linkin' Park. Other than those, there's not much more than a few that stood out and the nostalgia of the 80's was long gone. Now all I have is the pride to say "been there, done that"
