  • Hey Blake, nice playing and writing! You are doing that bass justice!! I've got one on order and was curious about what wood you have in it? Also what is the effect, a chorus pedal? What kind? Peace, Scott

  • @drsminer My Fodera has a mahogany body, alder tone block, flame walnut top, ebony fretboard and a maple neck. The only effect I used was the reverb designer plugin in Logic Pro 8.

  • @blakebranchbass What is a tone block?

  • @AlexKalicinski It's hard to explain; it's a piece of wood at the body under the neck and between the body wings. At Fodera.com you can see some pics of different Fodera basses at different angles to see this.

  • Excellent...such a musical bass solo, thank you Blake :-)

  • nice!

  • Man, that was sweet, tight and perfect. Made me turn up the EQ on my new 500-watt stereo. Makes me wish I invested in a 750-watt version.

  • Very, very, very well done.

  • you've made this world a better place :D

  • i'm coming back to you

  • Beautiful playing dude.

  • Azumanga Daioh?

  • @blakebranchbass Woah! Does it act as a resonator in a way?
