  • God, they sure don't make cars like they use to. I'm only 15 but this makes me wish I was born 45 years ago.

  • @Tranquiliz3 Hey man just work hard and get you one! :) Thats what the hobby is all about, keeping these cars alive. - Sam

  • Anyone notice cop car at :20

  • @Terruhcutta Yeah I did! lol I was driving. That was the Sheriffs station.

  • Man that sounds awesome. What kind of Cam was in it ? Solid Roller ?

  • @ModernMuscleHead yes sir! I don't know the specs or I'd post them for you. I shifted it fast because it wasn't my car, didn't want to abuse it. I love this video because I film all these cars and I DROVE this one in the hard shifting scene :)

  • id love to own one so bad

  • I'm curious. What did you Folks have to do to prepare those Nova Frames/Suspensions to handle the HP of the 427s?

A Buddy of mine put a strong 327 small block in one of these Cars and the first time he really nailed it from a standing start, the Car literally twisted the real Leaf Spring into a Pretzel and did a real number on what was left of the rear bodywork. Maybe I can answer my own Question here and say 400 hp was too much for a single leaf rear suspension especially w/o Frame Connectors.

  • You running straight pipes? and why did you sell it? I own a 67' YENKO Camaro had to sell it myself. damn this was thee best ive ever had. haha. Snapped the traction bar snubs right off on take offs from street racing with friends..

  • Maybe it's just me but hearing these engine started on a gear reduction starter, (famous from Mopar engines), seems a little strange.

  • @samspace81 I will be 16 in a few days and I'm hoping to sell my 1987 MR2 to get a %80-%85 restored Nova with a 400 Chevy in it.... I wish I could get a 1970 Ford Torino like my dads... He has a spare 351 Cleveland and auto tranny though!!! I love that thing.... These cars and music like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd AC/DC and all those make me wish I was born a LONG time ago....

  • awww man that is an amzing car! i love the old cars! im 15 adn i have a 1972 Pontiac Ventura with a chevy 402 BB with a 4 speed swaped in it. i love these things!!!
