the look in her eyes as she sings, so blank like shes not there. i understand what she meant by saying she had to go into a trance to sing it. i so understand that shutdown. amazingly brave

maybe it was the solemness of it all, but I thought it deserved more than a golf clap.

I remember driving to Big Sur with my friends listening to her Tales of a Librarian (?) cd, smoking pot when this song came on. Never heard it before and tripped us the fuck out. Car was silent. Good Times! Kinda! Tori has major balls.

i admire tori so much for having the strength to sing so candidly about such personal experiences. her music has helped so many people through similar experiences and this is just an amazing song
