This 45 sec video was filmed over a 27 min timespan (until my camera ran out of batteries). We shot this short clip on a canoe trip out from Mission Point Bible Camp on Shoal Lake, Ontario. We first watched this Larva get washed up on shore and climb up towards the sun. Then as it dried in the heat, we started filming.
(Note: the clip at the very end is added once we came back and found the digital camera dead, therefore exact timing is unknown)

  • cool

  • Awesome footage! And not to sound like a douche or anything but in the case of dragonflys it's a nymph, not a larvae ;P

  • Nature is beautiful.
