Maxell Corporation of America, (www.maxellpromedia.com), announces the availability and demonstration of its iVDR VC102 Direct-to-Disk Video Device Powered by CitiDISK® at the 2010 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show. The new iVDR VC102 Direct-to-Disk Video Capture Device converts the output of a digital video camera to a non-linear editing format and stores it on an iVDR cartridge, thereby bringing the inherent advantages of the iVDR technology to a wide variety of video recording devices.

-The iVDR VC102 Direct-to-Disk Video Capture Device converts the output of a digital video camera to a non-linear editing format and stores it on an iVDR cartridge.

-The unit records a non-linear video file to an iVDR cartridge while simultaneously recording to the camera's native format, including P2, HDD, SxS or tape-based.

-VC102 features an easy-to-use comprehensive menu system on a backlit LCD display.

-Compatible with Canon, Hitachi, Ikegami, JVC, Panasonic, Sony camera models.

-Records in DV, DVCPRO, DVCPRO50, DVCPRO100, DVCPRO HD or HDV formats.

-The VC102 operates off a rechargeable, internal Lithium-Ion battery for up to 90 minutes of nonstop recording. A DC power adapter is also available as an option.
