What if I told you I was going to drink a "crappy" beer from a brewer who doesn't have a brewery? You'd probably say, "go right ahead Mark, but don't ask me to do that". Well, I found a beer that is exactly that, although you may just want to drink it. The beer is called Beer Geek Brunch-Weasel and its brewed by Mikkeller. I recently did a review of their Beer Geek Breakfast and was very impressed.

The unique thing about Beer Geek Brunch Weasel is that is is made with coffee from beans that have been eaten and literally crapped out of the weasel-like Civet cat. The partially digested beans are collected, cleaned, roasted, and made into (very expensive) coffee that is used in the beer. I matched this unique beer with a hearty brunch of pancakes, eggs, bacon, and melon.

  • stout made with weasel dropings...thats diffrent

  • @mikey2cool Sounds weird but tastes great!

  • How long was this aged?

  • @sector69102 I bought it a few days before the review so I didn't age it at all. As to how long it was in the store before I bought it, I have no idea.

  • I'd be afraid the nose would smell like poop. Been offered this a few times and I can't bring myself to drink it due to the poop aspect.

  • @scottyg354 Ignore the poop and enjoy it. It's a really good beer and doesn't taste anything like poop.
