Paxil..well I've been on it for 10 year's and I've gone off it on a few occassion's with no major side effect's. As far as the drug itself goe's it has basically saved my life. And I thank Pfizer for putting this med out there. I'm going to upgrade to an SNRI in the near future. Effexor !!

@pipesrussell The overwhelming drug effect does not last forever. One day when the side effects get unbearable, you will have to wean off usually over a year or more and suffer withdrawal usually for a few years. You will wish, you have never taken drugs on a daily basis. Take a look on paxilprogress - org and read their stories.

I feel extremely sad for all the people that have experienced negative effects using this drug.
As for me, PAXIL saved my life. My panic attacks were taking over my live slowly and deadly for over a decade. I can now leave my apartment, go to work, take a bus, the subway and even a plane. I can now resume a normal lifestyle. I will NEVER stop taking this drug.
