I loved john lennons version 1 from the john lennon anthology best but this version is very sweet.

I never liked this song. I think the message got lost on me because of the endless cheesey covers of it by talent show contestants and so on.

But when Neil sang it, I heard the lyrics.

You hear better than most. I love Neil's small change to the lyrics ---"imagine no possessions, I wonder if I can?"

So great it is that a great like Young praises Lennon's song for the cause. The way I see this tribute is--we need to share and accept from others. Both contribute to making a community strong.
