Sweet video, I have a chance to buy a 97' crewcab powerstroke with 260,000 on it and a new transmission over last summer for 5 grand.... good deal or not? what do you think?

@MegaMoto4 its just fords in house diesel its a powerstroke but rumor mill has it that in the future ford is going to start puting cummins in their trucks..

thinking about buying a 97 powerstroke for my first truck/ first vehical ever and have heard really good things about the 7.3 but want to get one either old or newer body style what should i look for and whta amount of miles and what kind of problems do they tipicly have? thanks mike

@MegaMoto4 The 6.7 is still a Powerstroke, they got rid of Navistar engines, and developing/using their own.

Smart choice IMHO, seeing the bad things that were happening after the 7.3 was dropped.

I own a 7.3 IDI and a 7.3 Powerstroke, Amazing motors, 6.0.....not so much, don't know enough about the 6.4 yet to offer an opinion.

I just bought a 97 f250 HD five speed manual tranny, 7.3 XLT...got it for 7500 only has 100,000 on it...EXtended cab...seems to be a nice truck...I had a dodge cummins before... I really like the old 12 valve cummins engine but the truck seems to fall apart around it...So I got a Ford this time. But Im not a big fan of the indipendent front suspention that my Ford has.

Dude i subed u got some good videos im hopeing to move to montana to work for the railroad within the next year. But i like the power stroke good story lol! I got a 1995 ford f-150 with the 4.9 liter 300 inline 6 its only got around 115,000 miles lol and if u know those inline 6s will go forever lol! But tell me what u think of those inline 6s!
