It's nice to know about your experience. You've lived in a place with temperature variation of 80 degrees, while I lived in a place where it varies between 20 and 35 (more orless than that is very exceptional). Even Goteborg is a very cold place for us, I visited there 2 years ago. Now my dream is to do that ship travel from Bergen to Nordkap.

@mazely It's warm at summer - you can get up to +35.
Winter in Siberia with -30 si much better than -10 in Germany. You see winters are dry in Irkutsk and there is no so much wind. Nowadays I live in Sweden and I swear - It's more unbearable to live here at winter than in Siberia. -10 in Gothenburg is like -40 in irkutsk

This last "Europe", in the end of the sentence, was mistyped. I live in Rio de Janeiro, as I wrote before.
-
But I still cannot believe that you still live there with -30C, -40C... How come you go to work, shop, study? Sometimes - I know it sounds crazy - I access a weater site and stare looking to these extreme temperatures, and just looking is enough to make me scarry. I've already felt -12C in Europe, I cannot immagine how would it be in -25C or less. You see, I live in a place where average temperature in winter is about +20C. Europe

I mean, people dress unformally, there's a lot of people in the streets, the city is colorful and doesn't seems to be the boring place that many people here associate with "Siberia". About the girls... Well, Brazilian girls have their merits too. :)
-
@mazely I guess there is no difference in a social point of view ))))
But girls are more awesome in Russia. They are just miracles )))
-
If you dont mind the details (camels, architectural details, temperature during winter...), it's not so different from some middle-size towns in inner Brasil. I would like to visit this place, someday. (from Rio)
