Some HD footage of this water bird which migrates to the Philippines from July to May.

Common name : Common Sandpiper
Scientific name: Actitis hypoleucos
Habitat - Common along the shores of wide variety of wetlands.
Total length: 200 mm.

CAPTURE INFORMATION:

Manila Bay, Philippines, September 11, 2010, Canon 7D + 500 f4 L IS + Canon 1.4x TC, bean bag, manual exposure in available light, 720/60p capture.

    Still trying to work out how you go from the Ken Burns effect on a still and then into the HD movie - nice effect. G

    Thanks. I already sold my Sigmonster a few months back. This was with a 500 f4 IS + Canon 1.4x TC, on a bean bag, with IS running.

    Re Ken Burns effect, you have to take some stills at about the same time you film the footage. Then look for a frame in the footage where the subject's pose is similar to the still so you can blend both easier.
