This is a beautiful Ferrari 575M Maranello filmed at my friends garage in Bourton, Gloucestershire.

The 575 was the replacement of the hugely successful 550 Maranello. When they released the 550 back in 1996 a few owners gave some feedback to Ferrari on what it was like to drive and to use everyday. Using this information Ferrari restyled the 550 and put a larger and more powerful engine inside it and the new 550 became the 575.

The differences are that the dashboard is now simpler and easier to use, clearer dials, better seats, tweaked chassis, styling upgrades (like the grille) and of course the new 5.7L V12 engine that produces 515bhp and a top speed of 203mph. I absolutley love the 575M, especially in this stunning Grigio titanio with Bordeaux hide.

Filmed at my friends garage which is Legends Automotive in Gloucestershire.

  • how is 550 and 575 different?

  • Basically, the main differences between the 575 Maranello and the 550 maranello are the grille. It is shorter and has less rungs and usually comes in a chrome finish compared to the long smiley black grille of the 550.

Plus, it has a bored out 5.7L V12 engine as opposed to the 5.5L unit in the 550.

    550 Maranello is 1996-2002

    575 Maranello is 2002-2006

  • I got mine for a year and 3 months and it has been a very good car. The most surprising thing about it is that it was much more reliable than the BMW 850CSi I had before, handles better, more economical (weirdly, but just a little), sounds better and due to the rear transaxle, it puts the power down better. Slighly dearer to insure though.

Overall I rate the car 8.6/10, not the best Ferrari but overall very good. Currently being restored .

  • Awesome car. 5 stars.

  • I'll take mine in TDF blue.

  • Nice vid man!!

  • great car!! love it
