@yourstrulyaz Larry the Cable Guy isn't really southern in real life, he's mid-western and the entire Larry the Cable Guy persona is a stereotypical parody of rednecks in the Southern States. He has to practice his Larry accent. Rednecks just love Larry the Cable Guy because they fail to understand he's parodying them and insulting them, and they feel like they can relate to his character. For people who know enough about comedy, the irony of his act is the real punchline
