I wrote this song many moons ago. I think it's still befitting for the way we are so often urged to express love in intimate ways versus exploring it through other deeper levels. This song is about a person who is broken, exhausted from love...numb to it and is with a lover who refuses to see that this person needs time to heal, to believe in love again and to re-learn what that means before being intimate again. Lyrics below:

Okay so Jenn wrote me an email and linked me to this video. She was freaking out the way that she does and I have to agree with her. This song sounds like it is playing on the radio or on a CD like you paid thousands of dollars to record it somewhere and here it is. I love it girl. I love seeing you play.
