@vettestyle thats cool thanks for clearing that one up I didnt think SP ever owned units of that class as B units but I wasnt sure if it may have lost the cab in a derailment but thats very interesting SP clones who would have knew I think they look better in the BN paint

Hey bonehead! (I always wanted to say that to somebody and not get punched in the nose) You do need a cammera then I wouldn't have to travel all the way up there and hope that their doing some switching. I live in a little town called Richville 10 miles east of Saginaw.

Hello, You have a neat town I played tourist up there a few times and plan to go back this summer. This train surprized as it was video'ed on a Saturday just entering Bay City I didn't know they came down on Saturday.
When LSRC was leasing that HESR GE B30-7 B-Unit they never brought it down to the south end of the line. It must be fun to road switch with being cabless.

I shot it once in Bridgeport when the lease first began but that was the only time that I seen it go south.

Yes, I think your right HESR has three of them in service one that is still in BN green and black #4065.

@vettestyle I am trying to make out the former shortline that came from it appears to look like an sp style paint scheme with the scarlet red nose on gray but I dont recall Sp ever owning any cabless booster units in that class unless BN sold it to them prior to it becomeing shortline property I know BN had them and you are saying one of these is still in the green and black interesting I used to see them all the time on BN trains

The short line that these units work on is Huron and Eastern here in Michigan. This paint sceame was a knock-off of the SP but done by Central Michigan that merged into the HESR. Hope this helps always loved having SP clones running around in Michigan.
