@McDanceKommander I have never climbed in my life, and this video helped me get familiar with rock climbing. I will have some help when I first rock climb, but this video really helped.

At 2:15 he is "threading in". I don't know if this is the correct English expression. What I mean is: He puts his right foot behind the rope. This should never happen, the rope has to be between your legs in a situation like this. If he falls, his foot might get caught by the rope, making him turn around upside down and maybe smash his head against the rock. This is what I have learned in my PROFESSIONAL climbing course. Sorry, but most of the "Expert" Village videos are not helpful at all.

@24600bjk Get a few years of climbing experience before starting to think about setting your own bolts, rocks don't regrow so don't run around drilling without knowing EXACTLY what your doing. Also not really a good video, climbing should not be learned on youtube unless you enjoy falling to your death.

@24600bjk please don't try to go out and climb after watching this. Seek instruction from a trained guide or find someone from a local climbing gym to show you the proper techniques.

did he skip a bolt? that seems too high,,,

not one to spray but you did back clip after saying not to *** SAFETY***
Gate towards rock = love... for the ground, otherwise good
-
back clipped the first draw

Where is this?
"you want to make sure you don't fall before you get to the first bolt"...
are you fucking serious?

The credits list an expert but i don't see one here.
He's chosen a route to instruct novices on with the first clip about 8m up! I'd be soiling myself if i was outside being instructed by this baffoon. And if you insist on using this route, you might want to think about mentioning spotting instead of just telling us not to fall off! I won't even start on what's wrong with Dave's belaying technique.
This video is hilariously bad.
