  • Excellent guitars, amazing sound. And a reviewer is a damn good player. Comparing to the others I never got bored watching his reviews. Greeting from Serbia.

  • the pickups sounds great for soloing

  • Telling PRS has been allowed to reproduce these pickups means PRS wants to sell guitars sounding like Gibson's featuring PAF's. No chance for PRS, Gibson's Burstbuckers #1, #2 and #3 are true reproductions of original PAF's Seth Lover made when he worked for Gibson.

  • I watch all this guys vids to cop his licks!! Very tasteful!! Oh and the PRS's are cool. Vintage vibe is all subjective, it is just a marketing ploy to get you to run down and buy one, until you see the price tag!!!!!! Wait to buy one used, you'll let the smuck who bought it new take the hit!!!!

    Thanks

  • I'm really into progressive/psychedelic music, though my musical taste is really broad.

I was really harsh when I said that. It sounds brilliant if you want to play 50's/60's music. I've just never been impressed by the term "vintage", since a lot of the music I play really doesn't benefit from that.

It's personal taste, I suppose. The sound is incredibly rich for what it is. It's probably just me.

The guy demonstrating isn't really the cleanest player, so that might also be part of it.

  • Exactly what sound are you into? Do you consider this sound dated(80's, 90's...early 2000's)?

  • I love the sound of PRS's, but this one actually kind of sounds like shit...I mean, if you're really into that sound, I guess it's great. I just feel like we've kind of moved beyond that by now. I'd rather spend that amount of money on something that's more versatile.

  • Lovely playing man! What amp were you using? Thanks. All the best

  • Good review.
