  • Thanks so much for your video are there factory,s that were turned into site seeing in germany where u boat,s were built planes ,tanks pete

  • @playone4me I was stationed in Peenemuende, back in 1943. It was a huge facility where research on rockets was conducted. It is now a museum with very interesting displays. Werner von Braun worked at the place as well. Other than that I do not know of any others.

  • Panzerlied :-)

I sang that at my basic training in Wolfhagen just a few years ago.

  • I bet you didn't sing: "Als die gold'ne Abendsonne"? That was a nice song but the words would not be acceptable today.

  • It was nice to know that there were Colonels of the Wehrmacht who were good men. :)

  • Bernie, thank you so much for these valuable records of your life in the German army. This perspective of yours is great to have as it puts an understandable human face on a tragic time in our shared history. I'm looking with great interest to viewing your other videos. You are a delightful man and I wish you the best.

  • Thats why the German army was the best, because of the discipline. Awesome pictures, music, and singing at the end.

  • @Bernie1927 here it is copt this & pase at the end /watch?v=jY09Ps6GQro

  • Well I studied in a very liberal college in England and the liberal version is actually that there was very little the public did or really could do to get him in/out of power. It's the conservative viewpoint that they chose him.

  • May God Bless You Sir And May You Live Youre Life In Peace and Happiness.

  • I really enjoy your stories mate !! keep posting more videos and best of luck !

  • Thanks for sharing these stories it's very interesting.
