For years they turned a blind eye because business exploited them for cheap labor (often ripping them off entirely). However, fear of amnesty creating a lot of citizens who don't vote the right way and might steal the jobs of conservatives in the working class has reshifted the balance of GOP opinion.

Actually, having seen the whole interview, I thought Megyn Kelly did an ok job. I disagree with the use of the term illegal immigrant, but I thought she didn't stack the deck here. No need to attack her for this. I can't stand Fox News but I've seen much worse....

@wanealy 3 quick points. 1. Typical of Fox News, this topic is hand picked because it's right-wing red meat following "political correctness" meme. 2. She sensationalized the story by claiming the JSP is "launching a campaign." If fact, it's the opinion of one JSP blogger. 3. She takes the GOP side by launching into a prolonged lecture of 'where does it end' examples like "non-consensual sex partner" for "rapist". At no point does go after the conservative panelist with her personal opinions.

Curious isn`t it, when Bush was President no one was all that concerned about border security least of all Fox, but now that Obama is President there is a "real" concern that our borders are unsafe because of those illegals and terrorist. The borders probably were safer under Bush, he had Cheney at the border shooting people in the face as they came across huh!?

illegal is what they are, quit trying to sugar coat it !! undocumented is a term that they prefer to use along with words such as "Racial Profiling" and "racist". I dont know where the fuck you have been for the last 15 years, but ive been hearing complaints about illegals in the news, since I was 10 years old. People have wanted the border sealed and illegals stopped for a long long time. For a whole myriad of reasons.

You are speaking like this is a new phenomenon that has just arisen since amnesty started getting talked about. And that makes you just plain ignorant of facts and history. I think you are going senile.
