  • This hit's so close to your heart.

  • heard this when i was 8yrs old and it has always remained deep in my sole...ive had many beautiful, bittersweet experiences since then...many that fit this song...

    thank you!

  • Constantly learning lessons. Some are very painful. This song says it all.

  • can someone please place ... Find Yourself by jose thanks.

  • this is such a poignant song and again i heard this Tom Paxton song on "Feliciano" the album i had which contained songs which were covers by Feliciano, i found his versions i liked better than the original artists even the Beatles "In My Life' which i never heard before. i saw Jose at a concert in Toronto years ago, his guitar playing is extremely good altho' his voice may not be as good, but his rendition of many songs are very good.

  • My dad would sit and listen to this crying day after day when my brother was killed.

  • In a car full of darkness, noise and flashing lights on a moonless highway - Jose sings about better times though sad as they may have been. He's a friend in hard times.

  • in a car full of darkness, noise and flashing lights on a moonless highway - Jose sings about better times though sad as it they seem to be.

  • It's one of the saddest break-up songs I know of!

  • First heard this song in the '60's and have loved it ever since.
