does your Vortex ever jump from one preset to another? I'm pretty sure that mine is malfunctioning, and it's probably the rotary switch that chooses the presets that's doing it.

Excellent! Very relaxing and contemplative, meditative music. Love it. I would love to sort of move in that direction a bit and incorporate some stuff like that into what I do. Check out my Last Day Of November jam and let me know what you think. (I know it's different from your approach but you might appreciate it.)
I have lots of ideas for music but it's just so hard to bring the sounds out that I want so for now I just settle for what I can do. Guitar will be my primary hobby in old age.
