Nope. The voice comes with the software, so there's no turning it off.
And I don't know why it says "Touch my head sensor" instead of "Pet me". The software was released before the Sony people took the time to finish and edit it, so it's not really...y'know. Revised or whatever.

Yeah, the recognition software was HORRIBLE. It was good in some ways, but in other ways it was just annoying. And it's called the "Barbie Voice" for a reason...
