@acdckiller12 Are you left handed? Because the hand that you use to press on the strings will actually get more roughed up than the one used to strum. That said, you don't need to have tough fingers but it does help because soft fingers are more easily hurt by steel strings. A lot of people say it hurts their fingers when they start playing. It's a skill you really have to work for! :)

@inamonianim yeahh i mean "strong callused fingers" but like how do u get strong callused fingers for ur left hand??

@acdckiller12 Do you mean, strong callused fingers? Playing the guitar will eventually toughen up your fingertips because of the way you have to press on the steel strings to make chords/notes.

Tommy provides tab books for most of his tunes; DVD tutorials; and special recordings for earphone-listening. All so others can play them. I have never seen any other guitarist so generous. Only completely self-centered egotists do not share their technique. Obviously, Tommy is not one of them. Such excellence. Such a proponent of playing the guitar. The epitome of a master.
