  • @lincolnsmithtbp Bringing out the cinematography and editing in a Spielberg movie seems pointless, considering the great Michael Kahn edited the film, and Janusz Kaminski was the DP, who's films all look beautiful. Besides, how exactly do you know what made the movie great without having seen it. I truly think the way the movie tells the story as if an animal was viewing the events is it's greatest strength. If I were to bring out specific shots that were memorable, that would be too spoilerish.

  • One of the only horse films Ill ever see. Quick question: Did it feel like E.T. at some points? Whenever I watch the trailer, I always say, "E.T. with a horse" LOL

  • It was a nice movie but not great. there is only four scenes which really got me.:the horse vs tank, the british soldier and the german soldier together, the hors riding on the battlefield and the end in joun ford style. It's not a memorable spielberg

  • Hey Chris, I'm coming back to this video after finally seeing War Horse, and I have to say that I LOVED this film, way more than I even expected to. I love the way the film unraveled, and the way everything came together in the end. The cinematography, the score, the characters (especially the horses), everything. I know many will disagree, but I actually think this is one of Spielberg's best films, and I've seen nearly all of them (he's my favorite director).

  • give it the italians they will eat it

  • everyone who hates this movies....yeah fuck you

  • Usually I agree with you but War Horse is just so lame! I get emotional with movies and I love animals but the way this movie begged for my feelings is laughable,

  • i ahted this moviee sooooo dryyyyy

  • @thenecroyeti1 of the year? good, now give us the lottery numbers you lovely little troll.

  • @highlandcommando I agree, the score was really cheesy at times, especially in the beginning.
