Okay, I know nothing about this. The link to this video by Japan's INA Invention School (www.ina-hatsumei.com) was posted by amsci99 on www.secretprojects.co.uk. The thing is called the Sky-Crane 2. Basically it looks like two Kaman K-Max intermeshing-rotor helicopters glued together. If you know any more about it, let me know!

  • @Attilaakiraly

Chinook starts to tilt and spin as load changes

(because it's blades are at different height),

    however syncrocopters like K-MAX don't.

Add tandem layout and you have double the lift capabilities.

  • Ill give you four bucks if you can make it lift the van

  • wow - works!! needs some testing for to find out for efficiencies etc

  • I'm more worried about that... thing going through that van's window.

  • i heard of a more advanced version. it's called the Chinook!

  • looks like a merge between the Syncropter and the boieing chinook. what is the advantage of the syncropter part? seem to me that it is wasting about 10% of the power acting horizantally!
