@ihavtugo Actually, scientists from a bunch of different countries have said it's fine. If you watch the geiger counter when you're there the ambient levels are actually less than Kiev.

Friend was there 1y ago and he said that in pripyat was 60-70 uR/h so its not so dangerous.

I am making plans on going over there, radiation levels have dropped there. You can spend a day there and you get afew x-ray pictures worth of radiation, which that for a day is not dangerous, but if you were to live there, because radiation is cumulitive. It can cause serious damage over longterm exposure, why it wont be safe to live there for hundreds, possibly thousands of years. Pripyat is on average around 120 uR/H During the meltdown, it was MUCH, MUCH higher.
