Bonnie Durante, co-founder of The Society for MVP is the speaker. Her topic is, "MVP is a confusing diagnosis." The Society for MVP is a nonprofit, charitable organization dedicated to spreading the word about MVP Syndrome and Dysautonomia. You can find us at mitralvalveprolapse.com.
Bonnie, thank you for making this video. I've read the information on the MVP site, but your explanation of the differences here helped clear it up for me.
In 2009 I was diagnosed with MVP, but I've always suspected that I have MVPS and Dysautonomia. 2 years later I am back on an event monitor and have an appointment this week to see my cardiac doctor because of an increase in symptoms. I will be sure to use the information you provided in this video on my visit.
Bonnie.....was so nice to put a face with your name. Thanks for all you do for us, and all the support you give. This website and been a blessing, and we look forward to hearing from you often. Scharlene
