I used to own a wild rabbit, but I caught her at too old of age, even though she was only a few weeks old and could fit in the palm of my hand. She'd never let me pick her up and would only allow me to pet her forehead. It was really neat how quickly she learned to use a water bottle and use a litter box. Unfortuantly, I only had her for about 3-4 months. The cause of death is unknown. I just found her dead in her cage one day.

Alot of people get away with raising wild pets without a permit. Some areas don't require a permit for some animals, or at least have rules. Rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, possums, mice, foxes, birds, and herps are very popular wild pets today. A wild rabbit raised in captivity can be just as good as a domestic rabbit, only if raised as newborn babies though.

@JayonahClaw It's ileagle to have this animal without a permit. Even if it has ''emotions'' you still need a permit to handle one as a pet.
