@TheFulgoRex But the projectile is also intended to be used with the PHZ2000? It would be great if the german army could use it in Afghanistan. I think the German Navy also uses projectiles and canons from oto melara.

"CIWS" è l'acronimo di "Close-in-weapon-system" e sarebbe il sistema navale di contromisure. Funziona come un sistema antiaereo e fornisce protezione contro per esempio i missili antinave.

Il fatto è che un missile può sempre essere abbattuto in volo... ma un proiettile? Tieni conto che in una battaglia seria, la nave nemica viene praticamente "bombardata dall'artiglieria" con effetti devastanti, nel video viene mostrato un solo proiettile perché è dimostrativo.

diciamo che i tempi sono ancora un pochetto lunghi, anche xchè le sue applicazioni sono vaste e le problematiche riguardanti l'usura della canna notevoli. Per quanto riguardo il discorso dei missili, evidentemente non sono chiari i costi. Pensa che su un cannone da 76 della marina, di questi ne possono venire sparati fino a 155 proietti al minuto a un costo bassissimo rispetto a un Aspide/Tartar o Teseo, tutte cose in dotazione a noi.
