Went in to my local Blockbuster and guess what, the staff had this movie on their 'Suggested' list on display. So cool. I asked which staff member was behind the suggestion and they said they all were behind it. These are young 20 something folks and that gave me a real boost for the day. I thanked them for their courage considering the fundie town we are residing in. A stone's throw away from the store, a dozen folks holding biblical quote signs on a major thoroughfare. That removed my smile.

-virginal births
-incestuous start to Mankind (2x)
-resurrections of dead folks
-people living until they are over 900yrs old
-Ark full of every species of organism
-guys that survive in a whale for three days
Please, must I go on? I'm starting to lol and feel faint from your 'beliefs' as truth. I suppose you don't accept scientific theories then?

Isn't Maher Jewish?

This was a great film. Has anyone seen Jesus Camp?

Johns Hopkins University has long examined the marriage between the jews and mental illness. Collective psychosis compels the jews to continually perform evil acts so that the inevitable response can subsequently be used to grow their twisted "religion of persecution". More jew-haters are always required in order to maintain Judaism which would have expired long ago without the numerous historical atrocity stories such as "Exodus", "Fall of Jerusalem" and "Holocaust" which are total fiction.

"I'd argue Judeo-Christian belief has done more positive than negative"
So the crusades weren't negative? Lynching and burning witches isn't negative? how about "helping"/slaughter of American indigenous tribes by "bringing God to the heathens?" These are just one religion's actions in generally recent history.
The only "Good" your God has ever done was stay out of the way.
The bible been revised & corrupted at LEAST 5 major times. Correct me if I'm wrong but no God has told Man to do this.

I always find folks who reply in long paragraphs not answering simple questions i.e. MLK's beliefs being relavent. If SAX read Alex De Tocquevilles "Democracy in America" or the Declaration of Independance he may have more of my respect. It would worry me if he said freedom came from man.

Wow really? Did you even watch the first part of his documentary?

I find myself drawn to folks who are not delusional since they speak my 'language'. Lots of professionals of all stripes are delusional with belief in sky daddy(it's called compartmentalization). I disagree on the "more positive things than negative" thing. I can point you to many examples to support my position. Here are two:
-more theists in jail than atheists in the USA(% to society)
-less crime in non-religious countries
Bible takes:
-talking snakes
-global floods
