Tragically, the action shown here did NOT take place in Haiti. This was Afghanistan, some time ago. Haiti has received A MERE TWO airdrops thus far. WE SHOULD DEMAND MORE, SERIOUSLY LARGE-SCALE AIRDROPS TO HAITIANS, to alleviate the hunger and suffering, which has STILL not abated.

By simply dropping THOUSANDS of these lightweight Humanitarian Daily Ration packets overhead to flutter down for DIRECT PICKUP BY INDIVIDUALS, the populace could AT LAST benefit from instant, fair distribution to enfeebled individuals.

This would avoid the congregating crowds and heart-breaking struggles that these starving people are having to endure, DAY-AFTER-DAY! Why are willing, able and enthusiastic service personnel being blocked from doing this by politicians??

Is the current chaos really HUMANITARIAN Assistance? Just because it's no longer newsworthy enough for TV doesn't mean that the PREVENTABLE suffering and inequities are gone. HAITI AIR DROPS NOW!

Agreed, whats a shame they could not have just done this on a mass scale in Haiti. I see no reason why they could not have, just a shame.
