  • Dr. Samuel Lam, you are a liar and you are nothing but a facial mutilator. In truth you are inexperienced and you say nothing about the horrendous side effects, years of treatment with dermatologists and revision plastic surgeons I had to go through.

  • SoBeelined-are you, by chance, Prethenie, aka Clegg? I disagree with you, respectfully. I had fat graft and it worked out very nicely.

  • That is misleading, stating that fat is permanent, only if you are referring to the bits that take. It will be uneven, because some takes, some does not. It is unpredictable. You know it and I know it.

  • also, i have the long-term videos under a separate category called video testimonials on my website. i have separated them because my focus with these videos is to help with understanding the recovery and thereby take the fear out of the process. most of my patients fly in for my services so i don't always have follow up. for the ones that i do (and that is very many) just go to my website lamfacialplastics

  • great point. these videos are only meant to track the recovery time when the patient has the camera home for the week. long term photos can be seen on my website lamfacialplastics

  • I have watched lot of your videos and the thing is I never get to see the finished product. For some reason you only go until they start to heal and then it's over. Will you make a part two of some of these so we can see the results over time?

  • not to be arrogant, but even if they use my techniques (since i have written a book on it, and just sent my second fat grafting manuscript to the publisher last week [yeah!!!] for my second book on the subject called Aging Face: The New Paradigm by Elsevier in London), their results look nothing like mine. artistry supersedes technical skill or at least the two must be married.

  • Ok, nice to hear from the genius himself! I stand corrected! It's good to know about fat failing in the mouth corners. Are there other plastic surgeons out there who graft fat using your methods? You seem to be the leader in this.

  • good point but wrong. two things: fat fails all the time in the lines near the mouth. just doesn't work or last. second: the lines there look worse for a couple of weeks following the procedure anyway so you can't judge that result. just check what i say in my postop video companions on my site. finally, i have since fixed her lines with silicone but i am waiting for a year before i publish her photos. so far at about 6 months she looks amazing.

  • They needed to put more into the corners of her mouth!
