Lee Woodruff, wife of television journalist Bob Woodruff, who suffered a traumatic brain injury that nearly killed him while on assignment in Iraq, delivers the second annual Sargent College Drench Lecture, detailing her familys journey to recovery and the important role of physical therapy professionals in that journey. Woodruff is the coauthor of the New York Times best-selling book In an Instant: A Familys Journey of Love and Healing, which she wrote with her husband, and author of Perfectly Imperfect: A Life in Progress. Behavioral specialist Meredith Drench (SAR72) established Sargent Colleges first endowed lecture series, which focuses on the psychosocial aspects of rehabilitation, in 2009.
