@bennett849 These guys faced each other several times- Both had trememdous respect for the other- I worked a shot in Lubbock Tx, that had both on the Card, Ric Flair vs Scott Casey and Brody vs Abdullah- I watched Ric and Frank talk for over an hour before the match- NOBODY interrupted them!

never knew these two legends had faced each other

Saw this match from the front row.I was eleven. Weird seeing myself on it today. Still the best I have ever seen. No ring music in those days in St.Louis, but you should have heard the BRODY! BRODY! BRODY! chants just before he came out. And the pop when he jerked the curtain is still the loudest I have heard or will ever hear. Got to meet before he was murdered and will always be my hero.

@Laingraves You would've gone nuts. Live show at Memorail Stadium in San Antonio vs Abdullah the Butcher was INSANE. My sister took me and I actually met Brody at The Little Red Barn Steakhouse. My fav ever. My sons middle name is after him, Patrick Brody.

Every time I see Brody I want to beat Jose to death with a fucking claw hammer.

flair looks so young here, he actually looks pretty good for once in the robe too
-
regardless of what the promotion called him, when i was a kid we all called him "King Kong motherf-ing" Bruiser Brody.

Yeah. Movies are horrible, too, because they are so fake.
