"Sunny" and "Angel" may look like normal foals, but these babies and their mother, a 9-year-old mare named, "Lena", overcame unbelievable odds! Born on Sunday, March 28. 2010, it is believed that the chance of a mare and both foals surviving birth is around 1 in 10,000. Sunny and Angel are doing well, but in most cases there is a 1 in 15,000 chance of twin foals surviving the first two weeks.

These images capture my personal experience and their journey from survival to the strong healthy horses they are today. Ready to face new lives in their forever homes.

  • Did Lena have one filly and one colt? The little chestnut, if that's Angel, she looks like her mother a lot. She also looks like my horse when he was young. Beautiful horses. Some pics were funny when they were making faces. Nice music too.

  • Awesome video, thanks for capturing this once in a lifetime experience and journey we've all followed closely for 6 months. It will help to keep such treasured memories when they leave to soon for their new homes. The chosen songs are perfect.

Continued good health and happiness our little ones, we'll miss you.
