I am but a hobbyist and this performance is far from perfect, but I hope that it can be appreciated for what it is.

La Campanella is one of my favorite songs, and there are lots of virtuoso performances by professionals on youtube. But I have found that it can be just as fun to watch many of the amateurs out there play this difficult piece. There are so many different styles and versions, and after being spoiled by masters such as li and kissin it's nice to see how "normal" people interpret it.

  • You say "it's nice to see how "normal" people interpret it."

I'm sorry but anyone who can play la campanella is not normal... in a good way though ;) I think everyone who can play this piece should get a medal or something, and you play this so effortlessly. To be able to play this piece is like one of my life's goals.

  • The Best! Wish I can do that. Truly Great.

  • Very enjoyable. I was able to follow along with the speed. My ears could keep up.

  • I would LOVE to be as "normal" as you are!

  • Not bad =) Still alot to improve, but instead of mentioning the obvious stuff, rather mention some othe stuff. At 2:44, it should not be trillo between D and E. But D# and E =) And at the following variation on the main theme, the right hand plays the trillo between D# and E, and the thumb plays a D# an octave under. The lower D sharp should be played at the same time as the melody. =)

  • awesome!!!!!! but i notice a few problems

in 0:41 you cross your hands it's easier when you don't because your right hand automatically in the spot for the f sharp :D

  • im amazed! that was beautifully brilliant!

  • wow :o
