Welcome back to ClevverTV-I'm Joslyn Davis and today I'm coming to your from our headquarters in Beverly Hills. It's being hailed as perhaps the most potentially epic pop duet of all time is taking the music scene by storm. Lady Gaga and Beyonce just released the video for Beyonce's song "Video Phone."

The song is supposed to be a take on Beyonce's alter ego Sasha Fierce. B's said many times that when she really get's into the diva thing, she let's Sasha take over. So who better to do an over the top collabo with than Lady Gaga.

There are plenty of over-the-top costumes and props in the video, but Gaga isn't seen wearing any of them-Beyonce (or Sasha-depending on how you see it) takes on that task. Some critics think that the normally shocking Lady Gaga toned things down way to much for the track. In fact, she looks much more mainstream than we've ever seen her before. No lace over her face or wild costumes---Which is a compliment because she does look amazing and they sound great together.


But in an interview with MTV a while back, Lady Gaga said that she told Beyonce that she didn't want to show up in some crazy hair bow and be who she calls fashion Gaga. Instead she said she wanted to do Beyonce. After all, it is B's song. This is Gaga's explanation, but what do you guys think? Hit the comments section with your review.

i think beyonce is the reason lady gaga toned it down. beyonce wanted to outshine lady gaga, so she must have told lady gaga to tone it down.
