The Toronto Hearings were held at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, during the 10th anniversary weekend of 9/11.

September 11, 2011 marks the 10th anniversary of the events in New York and Washington that have played a dramatic role in modern history. These events have provided a pretext for a War on Terror that has replaced the Cold War as a global conflict framework within which military invasions and occupations have taken place, as well as violations of international law and human rights and a widespread assault on the civil rights crucial to democracies. Global military spending, which began a rapid downswing after the end of the Cold War, has, with the help of the official account of the 9/11 attacks, risen to Cold War levels and continues to rise. The focus on military solutions to complex human problems has sidetracked humanity at the very moment when international cooperation is most required to address genuine challenges that humanity faces.

In the meantime, the credibility of the official reports on the 9/11 attacks (by the 9/11 Commission, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other government or government-appointed agencies) has been questioned by millions of citizens in the United States and abroad, including victim family members, expert witnesses and international legal experts.

The International Center for 9/11 Studies has therefore decided to sponsor four days of International Hearings in the city of Toronto, Canada on the 10th anniversary of the events of September 11, 2001. During these Hearings, which will be broadcasted via the Internet, various expert witnesses will present the best available evidence into the case, discovered in the ten years since the 9/11 events occurred.

right on brother! it seems we must all keep trying to do what we can. i will try to forward links to media people and others from my side. i'm also thinking to speak with physics teacher from my high school. guess we should be fortunate they held it, regardless where, and i suppose it's not easy to arrange stateside with all the pressure to block the truth. ps. i hope i can visit Toronto someday, i always meet nice people from there and hear it's an amazing city :) peace

@sjcsea2 I think they were held in Toronto because there was an idea that the Canadian govt, or other foreign govts, would be more willing to consider the evidence.

The main issue I have, is that the govt could easily refute people's questions, if they so desired -- assuming they have the evidence. But they refuse to do so. They have 85 videos of the event, and we have seen 5 frames from one grainy video that was apparently too slow to capture the image of a plane.

So, either the govt like having people be "conspiracy theorists", or they don't actually have the evidence to back up their story.

I agree. Whilst there isn't conclusive evidence either way, I can't help wondering why they WOULDN'T use a plane if that is what they want us to believe hit the building. They'd used one for each of the towers and the one destined for WTC7 or The White House or wherever the Shanksville plane was heading - why not the Pentagon? A plane hitting a wall at 500mph doesn't leave big debris: /watch?v=RZjhxuhTmGk

@sjcsea2 dont know but I live in Toronto and i missed it and I heard the radio announcers mention it and ridicule the "truthers" when they had them on before the conference and I should have called into the station (Newstalk 1010 Gerry Agar show) and gave them a piece of my mind but I get stage fright so I didnt call in... I will just send them a link on their blog page or emails and let them watch for themselves...hopefully they will watch a bit and realize we are not crackpots...truth rules

why do we have to keep proving that these buidlings were demolished...its obvious that they were ...enough already... We know they were so lets arrest the bastards we have enough evidence
