  • The OPK's don't always work for PCOS people because we PCOSers often have a raised LH level at many points during a cycle - so because we often have these raised levels - we can get false positives ALOT.

  • I myself have never even gotten close to a positive...is it possible that they work the other way around and give false negatives? I just wish there was more information about this out there.. I even had a Dr argue with me about it and I told her to go back to medical school LOL

  • Where is the 5ww at???

  • tHANK U FOR BLOGGING its nice to know im not going through this stuff alone:)

  • you and me both... given up on the OPK's that is...

  • Something like that anyway! I could be totally wrong but this is sort of what I have put together from my internet and chapters readings. I have for sure given up with the OPK's. They don't work for me at all.

  • I never have had a positive either! But I think that our raised levels show some LH at almost all parts of our cycle - and with no consistency - some days darker than others with no real pattern. Where a normal cycle will have the LH slowly surge towards ovulation, and then not really register any LH hormone on the OPK after ovulation.
