  • Thank you very much guys.

    @enyum0

    The Blade has wavelines because it is a Damascus steel. I forged it from 2 differend kind of steels and after finishing the blade I etched the steel to schow the 2 different steels.

    @ jinnd319

    I used 1.2842 and c75ni8 to forge the damascus blade.

    @ USMCrecruitOORAH

  • @murat786 This sword's a masterpiece. So much respect for people keeping this kind of craft alive.

  • wie machen sie das blade?

  • a true artist ....brilliant bit of work my friend ..

  • I wonder to myself as I watch this how one of these swords would stand up. Could it be used as they were used back in the day? Another question, how does one get involved into such a trade? If I could, I would love being able to do something like this.

  • Damascus is the name of the ancient major trading point in the mid east. The steel was forged in various places with various patterns and "recipes". The town is Damascus, the steel is Wootz. To AlchemistHawk, ancient steel was pounded and folded to distribute carbon as evenly as possible, modern steel already is even, it's literally factory forged. Look up how Albion swords are made, it's the HEAT TREAT that's important nowadays, unless ones just addicted to the "smithing" thing.

  • how durable is a sword that is not made by folding the steel?

  • to niejest damast co najwyzej wielowarstwówka a do damastu to nawet naukowcy nie wiedza jak dojsc

  • you sir are very talented, 5*

  • Deutsche Facharbeit !!!! ;-)

  • Nice!
