Todd Bentley Wearing His Rattlesnake Shirt

Last night, July 4, 2008, Bentley was wearing a demonic t-shirt with two rattle snakes wrapped around the words, "Living Sacrifice" - this so grieves the Holy Spirit!!!

I think Bentley is a false teacher and is deceiving many. But that has nothing to do with wearing a band tee.

The problem is that most like me had no idea that this t-shirt is from a band. The visual pictures with 2 rattle snakes - snakes that kill - behind the words from the Bible - 'Living Sacrifice - is confusing and strange.

In the Bible, the snake or serpent refers to Satan from Genesis to Revelation:

Genesis 3:1 "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"

Paul writes in Romans 12 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Pointing out Todd's heresy is wonderful, but this is a Christian band that is very solid in their lyrics and lifestyles and the dueling snakes are likely a reference to Moses and the staff.

Those guys are far from demonic- TB on the other hand......

And duelling snakes is an obvious reference to Moses' staff, and that God is more powerful than the Egyptian's idols, and the new idols of today. God can use anything, including snakes, including metal.

Todd Bentley's usage of the logo isn't what was originally intended at all (then again he's quite dumb). But you need to understand that our God is capable of using anything, even the enemy's own plans, to reveal His glory.

Your own comments are full of stereotyping, judging, and ignorance. Go look up Undying by Demon Hunter right now on Youtube, a Christian metal band. Living Sacrifice is much heavier metal, but they are able to affect a different audience and reach out to people that you, I, and Demon Hunter may never be able to reach.

Every member of Christ's body serves a different function. Who are you to judge?
