WarCraft III with Wiimote

I used the program DarwiinRemote (Mac only) - you can get it here: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/23434 - to connect a Wiimote to my 24" 2.4 GHz iMac. I used two of iRobot's virtual walls as my IR source (they help the Wiimote know what it's pointed at on the screen.) And... I play WarCraft III! Sorry that the camera angle sucks...

Music is Through the Flame and the Fire by Dragonforce.

It was lots of fun although a little difficult to click on some of the smaller buttons. I had A and B set to left and right click. The D-Pad panned the camera. - and + tilt it up and down. I tried getting home to pause but that didn't work. I also tried getting 1 and 2 to select my heros but that didn't work either. Oh well.

I'll get another video up whenever I get around to it.

Please tell me in the comments if you try this yourself. :) Despite it being a bit impracticle, it sure is a lot of fun. And actually, with some practice you might be able to do just as well as with a normal mouse... maybe even better than with a normal mouse!

Does warcraft 3 run good on a imac?

Yeah, WarCraft 3 is a pretty old game by now. My 2.4 GHz iMac ran it at 120+ FPS even with maximum graphics quality settings.

I don't expect it free. I already own the CD. I have paid for the song, now I would like to use it. But BMG, being the greedy company it is, jumped me because some 3000 people have now heard the song, many of which likely also own the song aready or may buy it after seeing my video, via my video. I'd also like to point out that it's BMG, the company that doesn't actually make the music but sells it, not the artist, Dragonforce, that jumped me.

that argument has no meaning. they arent being greedy that you arent giving them the money and respect for their creation. you are being greedy for expecting it free. you dont have any rights when it comes to their music so you cant make a trade of respect for pay. it is their music and that is why they have the rights to it
