Carlton Select continuity, Tuesday 5th August 1997

This clip features some rather normal continuity from the defunct channel including a what I think is a rather false promo for the channel, the best TV on TV? For a channel that showed old Central, Alomo and dodgy Australian programmes.... I think not. It was one of those channels that I knew nobody watched, even though it had the odd good old ITV programme on it. Nevertheless the channel closed down in Early 2000. On Analogue Cable it was replaced by Carlton Cinema. It was marketed as a Cable exclusive channel, along with the Carlton Food Network.

@FRANKIESHANOWSKIY2K0 It wasn't that short lived, it was originally SelecTV which started I think in 1993, it became Carlton Select in 1995 and then it ended altogether in March 2000.
