The detector said Wisconsin Central. Wre they taken over by CN or is this trackage rights?

Canadian National had already bought the Wisconsin Central at the time this was taken. They just hadn't changed the railroad name on the message. This detector has been replaced since then and now identifies itself as being CN.

Good question. The title is pretty self-explanitory and there's a thumbnail too, in case you can't read. (I assume you can though, since you left a comment) so the only answer I can think of is you're simply not very smart. Most people of minimal intelligence could figure out what the video was about without even watching it. Since you cleary don't like trains, yet sat through the whole three minutes of it and left a dumb-ass comment, I can only assume you're a dumb-ass yourself.

Nice video! It's amazing, how long the trains are in the United States. I think i'll never see a train of this size on German railroads :-)

Wow man, Believe it or not this was the very VERY first video I ever saw here on youtube under an old account name. Back in 07'. Here I am 6 years later and your vid now had over 7,000,000 views! Major congrats to you! :D

Couple of things I saw I've never seen before that were in this vid. The lights were flashing in opposite (left light on one pole with right light on other pole) and I've never seen the lights cut out while the train was still in the crossing, they usually wait a few seconds for clearing. A cool song to play on another Y;T; window with this is "Clubbed to Death" by Robert Dugan, almost perfect syncro with the lights!
