With this, I'm recreating the characters of my FAVORITE book of all time, The Thorn Birds (pretend that's italicized :P). It's truly one of the most beautiful things I've ever read, and is only the second book I've bothered re-reading. I'll honestly probably re-read it every 5-10 years.

Anyway, the basic premise is that Ralph de Bricassart, a Catholic priest, is torn between his love of the Church and his love for Meggie Cleary.

My "dream team" obviously can't exist since poor Heath is gone, but he would've made a great Ralph. The actors in the TV movie were ok, but they could've made better casting choices, IMO.

This is beautiful! I read The Thorn Birds a VERY long time ago, but I agree. Heath would've been an EPIC Ralph, omg. *_* Cuz Ralph was supposed to be very beautiful, and no offense to the actor they chose, but...he wasn't. XD lol
