How to do flamenco tango llamada or call --Part 1

Llamada or a call is a loud and energetic dance move that is inserted inside the choreography to signify a change. For example you can place a call at the end of a section of marking steps to signal to the guitarist that you are about to do footwork. Or you can place it at the end of the footwork to signal that you are finished with the footwork. The call is usually, not always, but usually two bars long. To keep things simple, I will cover the first bar in this section and go over the second bar at a later point. Like everything in flamenco, it can be done is thousands of different ways, but I will teach you the simplest and easiest tangos call that I know. So the first bar of this call looks like this:

I do a stomp on the right
then three quiet step back
Then four stomps in a quick succession
Stomp, walking forward
Stomp, walking forwards
stomp stomp

lets practice this together, initially slowly and then a little faster.Do the feet first and when you feel comfortable with that add the arms.

Now notice how when I am taking the two stomps forwards I am in fact leaning back.

Remember you are calling attention to yourself. You are saying 'Hey! look at me, I am about to do something really cool". So dance with that intention in mind.
