I bought the WaterRower to improve my overall fitness, and it has lived up to my high expectations. It's solidly built, easy to use, attractive, and gives a hard workout.

  • When the water is already spinning is there still some resistance with each pull?

  • Yes, there is resistance with every pull. The harder you pull, the greater the resistance. The waterrower is meant to simulate the resistance of actual rowing. The sound of the paddles swirling the water in the tank is soothing --- almost zen.

  • @kensandiego2 Hello how are you today, I have a question I'm interested in buying a spin cycle bike or a rower but don't know too much about the rower. I want to know what's the best rower to purchase the water, air, or the magnetic rower. I train in MMA fighting and I want to know what would u think would be the best for me. I hope u respond soon, thank u have a great day.

  • @Mr291229 // I don't have enough expertise in the matter to advise you. I find the water rower to be a calm soothing way to get in low impact conditioning. I like to row at a moderate clip while watching a baseball or football game.

  • Good video

  • @SolidGold1980 yummmm

  • @coopjcooper no, but it makes delicious fruit smoothies

  • you have man tits...work harder

  • i don't know why this vid has any dislikes. its well made, shows the function of the machine, and nice music. funny technique, but i can live with that

  • Just a tip: The handle should be over your knees before you raise your knees. It doesn't matter much on an erg, but on the water it can cause a funky stroke, so its always nice to practice correct technique so in case you ever do get out on the water you don't capsize.

  • @kensandiego2 My cat will happily sleep in the same room while I train with the waterrower. I cannot imagine him doing that with an air-resistance rowing machine!

  • @schweine6 there is some resistance, not enough, though as you can see the momentum of the water makes each succesive pull easier, so the resistnce decreases with every pull. not really ideal, fad rowr get a concept2

  • @bengaliprince176 It is possible, but difficult. Backing it up with gym workouts is a great idea. That is what I like to do. The rowing machine is great for burning fat also, so it can really make the muscle you have stand out and look great.

  • @BagofHay Thanks for the reply man. I've been doing 20 mins a day, but been backing it up with gym other days, was hoping I could gain muscle with just rowing...
